Burglary Incidents Farnborough West

Alert message sent 30/11/2020 11:46:00

Information sent on behalf of Hampshire Constabulary

Hi everyone, #PCSOMichelle here.  I just wanted to get another update out to you in relation to the burglary incidents happening on #FarnboroughWest.

Since the 17th of November, there has been seven burglaries, all with a very similar method used.  Predominantly, entry has been gained by insecure doors and windows which have been closed but not locked.
Please can I ask you all to be vigilant and report any suspicious persons, vehicles or activity to us on 101 or online at www.hampshire.police.uk

Also, if you are at home, please make sure your doors are locked. It is very easy for an opportunist to gain quick entry, grab items like purses and keys and be gone unnoticed.
The majority of these have been happening in the evenings, anytime from 7pm onwards.

Finally, if you have CCTV, please can we ask you to check to see if there is anything of note. The dates of the burglaries were:

17th November in Southwood,  Wisley Gardens
19th November in St John's, Church Lane
27th November three incidents in St John's, Fleet Road, Severn Road and Newfield Avenue
28th November two incidents, St John's and Mayfield area

Thank you #PleaseBeAlert
