Hi all,

This week is Op Sceptre for all Police Forces Nationally to raise awareness about knife crime and educate the public of the risks and outcome that being in possession of a knife can cause.

The Totton Neighbourhoods Team will be attending schools and shops with our amnesty bin, where anyone can surrender any knives that they have in their possession without repercussions. We will update where/when we will be at certain places on our Facebook page, so please give Totton Police a follow!

Remember it is illegal to be in possession of a knife that is longer than 3 inches and is not lockable. Also it is all about intention and circumstances, so please do not carry knives at all! It is a risk to everyone and you!
