Crime prevention reminder after the theft of a road bike on Copnor Road

Alert message sent 14/01/2021 16:22:00

Information sent on behalf of Hampshire Constabulary

We’re reminding residents in Portsmouth of our crime prevention advice following the theft of a bicycle from an address on Copnor Road.

On Monday 11 January, between 2pm and 5pm, someone entered the garden of the property and took a Boardman CXR8.9 road bike.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind residents to ensure that all doors, windows and gates are locked and secure when they go out or are in a different part of their property.

We would also like to hear from anyone with information on this incident. Perhaps you were in the area at the time and noticed something suspicious? Or maybe you have CCTV or dash cam footage that may assist us with our enquiries?

Anyone with information is asked to phone 101 with the reference 44210011847.

For specific advice to help protect your bike visit: http://orlo.uk/HomzQ

If you're offered a bike for sale that you believe may be stolen, call us on 101.
