Vehicle Nuisance Witness Appeal

Alert message sent 28/02/2021 18:17:00

Information sent on behalf of Hampshire Constabulary

Hampshire Constabulary are appealing for witnesses following an incident of vehicle related nuisance in the Blackbushe area of Yateley.

On 28/02/2021 at 13:13hrs we received a report in relation to four off road motorcycles being used on the disused Blackbushe runways in the Yateley area. The motorcycles were reported to be travelling at excess speed and posing a danger to those using the runways for exercise.

It is believed that various mobile phone footage of this incident may have been captured. We would like to appeal to anyone with footage in order to secure and review this as soon as possible. This may assist us with our ongoing enquiries.

Reports also indicated a child had fallen from a push cycle owing to the situation. We would like to further appeal to this child and the family to contact us to ensure they are safe.

Should you have any footage relating to this incident, please email hart.north.police@hampshire.pnn.police.uk. Please do not attach or send the footage via email. A separate request relating to the footage will be sent following contact.

Vehicle nuisance remains a priority for the Hart North team. Please rest assured that we are patrolling the areas effected regularly and working with our partner agencies to combat this activity.
