Theft from Motor Vehicle - Liss

Dear Resident,
 
Police are appealing for witnesses to a theft from motor vehicle in the Liss area.
 
The incident took place in Rake Road between 16:00hrs on 13th March to 09:00hrs 15th March 2021. (It has only just been reported to us)
 
A vehicle parked up on a driveway was broken into and Husqvarna Chainsaw – 550XP (Orange with grey decals) and two pairs of sunglasses were stolen.

There has been an increase in Bordon with this type of theft in the past week so please be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to Police – 101 non-emergency and 999 in an emergency.   • When leaving your car, close all windows and lock your car.
  • Upon locking your vehicle try your car door to ensure it is actually locked.
  • Don't leave anything on display in your vehicle.
  • Take all your personal possessions with you.
  • Remove sat nav holders and visible sat nav ring marks from windscreens.
  • Leave the glove box open to show there's nothing inside.
  • Fit an alarm or immobiliser to your car.
  • Record the details of your property on the Immobilise website - https://www.immobilise.com/
  • Do not store your car's documents in the car.
  • Secure your wheels using locking wheel nuts.
