Alert message sent 09/02/2021 08:34:00

Information sent on behalf of Hampshire Constabulary

Dear residents,
I would like to bring to your attention to reports of increasing anti-social behaviour by groups of youths in Quilter Road play park.  They are causing nearby residents a great deal of distress by being noisy, smoking cannabis and breaching COVID-19 rules . Yesterday evening anti-social behaviour escalated and eggs were thrown at a nearby property.

Police will be patrolling in the area whenever our shift pattern allows but I would like to ask parents of 15- 17 year olds to be aware of what their children are doing in the evenings, who they are meeting and where they are hanging about.  Please speak to them and remind them of the lock down rules.  Under 18’s cannot be fined but the parents can potentially be given a £200 fine for breaches by their children.
