Witness appeal following robbery in Southampton

We‘re appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Rockstone Lane, Southampton.

Sometime between 3.30pm and 4pm on Thursday 24 December, a man in his 40s was walking home from the shops when he was approached by three men on a footpath at the top of Rockstone Lane, near to the YMCA.

The three men assaulted him before stealing his mobile phone and running off past the YMCA.

The victim suffered head injuries and a cut above his eyebrow.

The first man is described as being white, around 30-years-old and approximately 5ft 6ins tall. He was wearing a black jacket, dark jeans and a dark coloured face covering.

The second man is descried as being white, around 30 years old, approximately 5ft 8ins tall. He was wearing a black jacked and a dark coloured face covering.

The third man is described as being white, around 30 years old and approximately 5ft 8ins tall. He was wearing a camouflage jacket and dark trousers.
