Man charged following Stacey Centre burglary

Just an update for you this morning regarding the burglary at the Stacey Centre on Tuesday evening.

We have now charged a man with burglary and he is due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court today.

Abdul Ali, 30, of Milton Road, was charged with burglary following the incident just after 7pm on March 31.

The two other men we arrested, a 23-year-old and a 39-year-old, have both been released from custody but remain under investigation at this time.

Our patrols throughout Portsmouth continue during these challenging times, so if you have any concerns, please speak to us when you see us out and about - we'll be sure to keep to the required two meter distance.
