Please see below a crime report for the Civil Parishes of Liss, Hawkley, Greatham, Froxfield & Privett, Steep, Stroud and Colemore & Priors Dean.
 
Week Commencing – Monday 20th January to Sunday 2nd February 2020:
 
BURGLARY RESIDENTIAL:
 
20/01/20 – Overnight 19:00 - 07:00hrs
Alexanders Lane, Privett.

Garage broken into chain saw stolen.
 
 
21/01/20 Between 00:15 – 12:35hrs
Blackmore Lane, Froxfield

Person reporting unknown offender(s) have approached their property in a vehicle and have gained entry to the rear garden where they have opened a large container unit. They have then gone round to the front of the property and caused damage in order to remove a tool storage box from the back of a pick- up truck belonging to their business. Nothing reported as stolen. CCTV at the scene was checked unfortunately not enough to make a positive ID.

Attempt break to an out building – offender(s) cut the padlock but were unable to remove it and left the scene.  
 
 
BURGLARY BUSINESS:
 
26/01/20 – 23:45hrs 
Hill Brow Road, Liss

Attempt break to a business premises. Door was jemmied by the offenders and no entry was gained. Our response and patrol units attended, six minutes after the initial call, and completed an area search. At this time no suspects have been identified.      
 
 
THEFT FROM VEHICLE:
 
21/01/20 – Between 00:30 – 01:00hrs

Company vehicle on driveway damaged and items stolen from within.
 
27/01/20 – Overnight 20:00 – 10:20hrs
Petersfield Road, Stroud.

Resident reporting theft of front and rear registration plate from his Ford Transit Connect van. 
  
23/01/20 – Between 02:30 – 15:00hrs
London Road, Hill brow, Liss.
Ref No:  44200028492
 
Offenders have broken into the rear of a vehicle and have stolen an envelope containing personal information. No CCTV in the area.
 
26/01/20 Overnight Between 22:00 – 00:30hrs
Pococks Lane, Hawkley
Ref No: 44200032597
 
Vehicle parked on country lane has had the front and rear number plates stolen.  These have then been put on another vehicle (reported stolen 07/01) and used at an attempted non dwelling burglary in Liss.
 
 
SUSPICIOUS INCIDENTS:
 
24/01/20 – Between 11:00 – 11:30hrs
Farnham Road, Liss

Resident reports that a male arrives at the location is seen taking photographs of the buildings and his address. No known reason given for this activity and the male was then seen to drive off at speed.
