We would like you to be aware of a burglary that has been reported to us. This occurred on the weekend just gone. Between 13.30 on Saturday 14th December 2019 and 16.40 on Sunday 15th December 2019 unknown offenders have gained access to a property set back from the road on Bulpits Hill in Vernham Dean. Offenders have smashed a window pane next to the front door of the property and have then gained access to the property. High value goods have been taken.

Enquiries are ongoing. If you have any information that you think might be relevant and useful to our investigation, please tell us. You can call us on 101, or by visiting www.hampshire.police.uk and using the online ‘Report’ function. Please quote reference number 44190450460.

Please remember to take steps to protect your property. Always lock windows and doors, consider what other locks you can install to increase security. Consider installing external motion lighting, an alarm and CCTV. CCTV systems that allow you to remotely monitor your property and store footage in the cloud are particularly useful.

Take care.
