Man arrested following burglary at business in Lymington

A man has been arrested by officers investigating a burglary at a business in Lymington.

The incident took place at around 9.45pm on Monday 23 September, at the Simply Be hairdressers in Roundhouse Court.

A till and cash were taken.

This morning (Wednesday 25 September), a 40-year-old man from Lymington has been arrested on suspicion of burglary.

He has also been arrested of two counts of making off without payment, and one count of theft from a shop.

He is currently in police custody.

Officers are also aware of seven other reports of business burglaries in the High Street area of Lymington since Sunday 8 September.

Enquiries are ongoing and officers are looking to see if these incidents are linked.
