BURGLARIES

01/08/2019 – Ref 44190270179
A garden shed on Rails Lane was broken into overnight. Several tools and a mountain bike were stolen.

18 - 20/08/2019 - Ref 44190295219
Person(s) unknown have attempted to access a garage on Restawyle Avenue overnight. They were unsuccessful but did cause damage in the process.

THEFT FROM VEHICLES

Several vehicles in both the Northney/Stoke and Southwood Road areas were accessed over the course of the month. It appears that loose change was the main target, however we would still like to encourage residents to ensure their vehicles are locked and secured, making sure all valuables are taken out.

ROAD TRAFFIC OFFENCES

17/08/2019 – Ref 44190292107
A vehicle travelling along Southwood Road was stopped by police after the vehicle was showing no insurance. The vehicle was subsequently seized.

25/08/2019 – Ref 44190302379
Police stopped a vehicle after it was seen being driven along Sea Front with a tyre completely flat and hanging off the wheel. Alcohol was smelt on the driver’s breath and they were breathalysed. They were shown as being over the prescribed limit and therefore arrested.
