Hello Hayling Island!
Here are some incidents of note that Hampshire Constabulary have been dealing with throughout June 2019 on Hayling Island, including Burglaries, Criminal Damage, Theft, Drugs-related offences and Road Traffic offences.

20-21/06/2019 - Ref 44190214714
Between 23:00 and 07:00 a garage was accessed on Rogers Mead and a bicycle was stolen. A 15 year old male was arrested and released but is still under investigation.
22-23/06/2019 – Ref 44190216100
A number of garages on Spinnaker Grange were broken into and several high-value bicycles were stolen overnight. The investigation is ongoing.
15/06/2019 – Ref 44190205717
A customer of Corals has kicked and caused damage to a window on their way out. They were seen leaving on a bicycle.
30/06/2019 – Ref 44190226044
Between 16:30 and 17:30 on Northney Lane, entry was forced into a vehicle and a briefcase stolen.
13/06/2019 – Ref 44190202848
A vehicle was stopped along Sea Front and the driver admitted having no insurance. Vehicle seized.
24/06/2019 – Ref 44190217488
Vehicle stopped on Grand Parade. The driver was not insured to drive the vehicle, so it was seized.
29/06/2019 – Ref 44190225126
Vehicle was stopped on Manor Road and the driver found to only have a provisional licence and no insurance. Vehicle seized.
We are aware of a series of bicycles being taken at various locations and we will be conducting patrols in these areas over the coming days. However we also need your help. Please ensure your garages and sheds are locked and secure and, if possible, nothing of value is visible. Utilise automatic lights and CCTV and if you spot anyone acting suspiciously, always call 101, or 999 if a crime is in progress.
