Dear Residents

Alert message sent 31/05/2019 15:55:00

Information sent on behalf of Hampshire Constabulary

Update from your local PC Aiden Blackwell covering East beat area of Basingstoke consisting of Old Basing, Chineham, Lychpit and Sherfield Park.

As previously stated in the last message theft from motor vehicles will stay as a priority for the area. I can imagine that it is frustrating that it appears that residents are doing everything they can to keep their personal possessions safe and the crimes keep happening. I would like to ensure you that patrols are being conducted in the area and fingers crossed its just a matter of time before catching the person/s responsible. Stay vigilant and together we will catch who is doing it. Again make sure your vehicle doors are locked and anything of monetary value is hidden away.

I plan to meet with the local Clerk and the head of neighbourhood watch at the beginning of June to discuss concerns regarding the area. If you have any questions please pass them on and I will answer them during this meeting.

I do hope you have a good weekend and enjoy the nice weather that is forecast.

Regards

Aiden
