Hedge End Incidents for your Attention and Awareness

This is a Witness Appeal and Crime Awareness/Prevention Alert for the below incidents in Hedge End. Please don't think this won't happen to you, a large number of crimes are purely opportunistic - door open / unlocked, window open, items in view and or easy reach.
If you see anyone trying or house / garage doors, or car doors CALL 999 IMMEDIATLEY – so we have a chance of catching the offenders. With any detail possible – clothing type / colours / direction of travel.
We are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Did you see or hear anything or anyone? Do you have any private CCTV or Dash Cam footage that may assist us? If you have any information about these incidents please ring 101. Or call anonymously to CRIMESTOPPERS on 0800 555 111.
At this time these incidents have been filed, due to no further lines of enquiry.
  • Burglary - Billington Gardens. Sunday 10th March 01:20 hrs - 44190083805

         2 males involved in entering a garage. Noise heard from the garage 
         and 1 male seen to run away, other male was on the driveway.
         garage and the car on the driveway were left unlocked.

  • Theft from Vehicle – Wellstead Way, 9th / 10th March Overnight - 44190083959
    Overnight vehicle left unlocked because they forgot to lock it. In the morning they saw a search has been performed and a coat is missing.
  • Theft from Vehicle – Malvern Gardens, Sunday 10th March early hours -     44190083964

         Inft reporting that their car has been entered overnight. The car has
         been searched and a watch has been stolen.

Please Help Us To Prevent Vehicle Crime -
Keep your car locked and remove all valuable property from your car, including any bags and coats. Pull your car handle to CHECK it’s locked.
Thieves have and will, break into cars for bags and coats, due to the possibility they may contain valuables. Thieves are also searching unlocked vehicles for ANYTHING including,
chargers, loose coins, sunglasses and keys.
