Crime Alert - Hawkley - Liss

Dear Resident,
 
Please be aware of the following incidences which have occurred in the Hawkley area this week.
 
Thursday 21st February between 21:00 – 23:15hrs in Hawkley Road – there was an attempt break to a residential property. It is believed that the intruders were disturbed by the owner’s dog and left the property. The home owners were not in at the time.
 
Friday 22nd February at approximately 02:00 – 02:30hrs a farm outbuilding in Hawkley Road was targeted and an attempt was made to steal a quad bike. Whilst there the intruders did manage to steal a quantity of fuel before leaving the property. The intruders were disturbed by the home owner and fled the scene.
 
Tuesday 19th February, in the early hours,  a farm building was targeted and a quad bike was stolen.
 
The quad bike stolen is described as a Honda TRX500FM8 – colour red.
 
Please call police, on 101, or crime stoppers  anonymously on 0800-555-111, if you have you been offered this quad bike for sale or if you have seen it up for sale? (quoting reference number 44190060157).
 
Please ensure you are vigilant at all times, calling police to report any suspicious activity, not just around your own property but anything suspicious in your residential area and community. In an emergency use 999 or 101 for non-emergency. It is not too late to report any suspicious activity to police.
