Fraudulent phone call

The Police have very recently received a report from an aggrieved party in regards of initially a phone call that she received.

The caller stated they were from Lloyds Bank, Andover and informed her that they needed to exchange her bank card

This was followed up by attending her home address where a replacement card was given, the aggrieved's current bank card was taken away and the PIN number was obtained

Following this several hundred pounds were withdrawn from the ATM at Lloyds, Andover

A further attempt to use this bank card was made to purchase goods to the value of £9000 which was declined

Please be mindful of the above fraud, do not give out any of your bank account details, your bank would not contact you in this way and discuss your personal details
