Distraction Theft - Worting Road

 On Thursday 7th September between 13:00 and 13:30 an incident took place whereby an elderly male has had his bank card taken from his wallet. one male has distracted the victim whilst another male has reached into the victims coat and taken a bank card from a wallet.

Both males have then run off in the direction of Western Way.

The first male has been described as a white male,
early 40's, with a stocky build and dark hair, he was wearing dark coloured trousers with a rain coat and a white t shirt underneath.
The second male is described as short and thin.

Were you in the area at the time and witnessed anything? Or did you see two males run of in the direction of Western Way? If so please contact 101 quoting 44170347311 or ask to speak to PCSO Ryan Long 16344.

 

Please be extra vigilant in the coming weeks and report any suspicious activity to 101, please try and obtain any descriptions of any offenders or suspicious people.
