Bicycle Registration Event

Calling all cyclists………………

On Thursday 19/02 we will be in Rowhill Nature Reserve field centre on Cranmore Lane, Aldershot, GU11 3BD between 12.00 and 13.00 marking and registering pushbikes free of charge.

The marking kits we are using are from BikeRegister and consist of two temper-resistant labels which are placed on the frame of the bike. The bike will then be registered on the BikeRegister national cycle database using the unique code on the label. BikeRegister is the national cycle database loved by cyclists and preferred by Police. It is used by every Police force in the UK to reunite hundreds of owners with their stolen bikes every year. 

The registration only takes around 5 minutes per pushbike but it provides a visible deterrent to potential thieves.  However, in the event that your bicycle does get stolen, bike marking has been proven to help police reunite them with their rightful owners.
