Appeal for witnesses following dangerous driving incident on A34

Were you travelling Southbound on the A34 between 10:05pm and 10:10pm yesterday (Tuesday 23 December)?

We have received multiple reports that a black Honda CRV was witnessed driving northbound on the southbound carriageway before correcting itself and proceeding on the carriageway. This occurred on the A34 between Burghclere and Tot Hill Services and we believe a number of vehicles narrowly avoided colliding with the vehicle.

Officers are appealing for anyone who was on these roads at the time and witnessed the driving to come forward.
