||
|
We are appealing for witnesses after a series of shoplifting incidents across Ryde, Newport, and East Cowes. On Thursday 4 December a man has reportedly entered Tesco Extra on Brading Road in Ryde and left with alcohol to the value of £145.50 that he has not paid for. This follows two previous incidents on Thursday 27 November at Sainsburys on Foxes Road in Newport and Saturday 29 November at Waitrose on Well Road in East Cowes where a man has reportedly entered the stores and left with alcohol and meat products to a similar value without paying. Following enquiries, we are now able to share an image of a man who we believe may be able to assist with our investigation into these incidents. He is described as, If you recognise this man or were in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious, please call 101 and quote 44250547166. Additionally, we’d like to hear from you if you have CCTV, dashcam, mobile phone, or doorbell camera footage that may assist our enquiries.
