Witness appeal issued following burglary at jewellers at Hartley Wintney
We are appealing for witnesses and information as part of an investigation into a burglary at a shop in Hartley Wintney.
Officers were called at 2.47am on Wednesday 3 December to a report of a break in at the A W Porter and Son jewellers in High Street.
It was reported that entrance to the store was forced before items were taken.
Officers have been carrying out enquiries at the scene, including identifying what was taken from the store.
An investigation is underway. No arrests have been made at this stage.
While we carry out our initial enquiries, we are keen to hear from anyone with information about what happened.
We appreciate it was in the early hours of the morning, but were you in the High Street area at the time? Did you see or hear anything that may help our investigation?
We are also keen to hear from anyone who remembers seeing any suspicious activity in this area in the days proceeding the burglary.
