Appeal for witnesses following suspicious incident in Gosport |

Afternoon Gosport, We are appealing for witnesses after we received a report of a suspicious incident on Wych Lane, Gosport, on Thursday 16 October. It was reported to us that at around 8:15am an unknown man has tried to speak to and followed two eleven-year-old girls as they were walking to school. The girls were unharmed and reported the incident on arrival at school that morning. Our enquiries are ongoing and we continue to liaise with the school, but would like to hear from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area around the same time. The man has been described as being: • White • Around 50 to 60-years-old • 5’8” • Short grey hair in a mohawk style • Wearing a white knitted jumper and light-coloured trousers Additionally, if you have any other information which may assist in our investigation, including any dash cam, doorbell camera, or CCTV footage from the area, please contact us on 101 and quote incident number 44250468571.
