CCTV image released as part of investigation into theft in Portsmouth

Officers investigating a theft in Portsmouth are releasing an image of a man they would like to speak to.

We received a report that at around 12:00pm on Tuesday 1 July, a purse was stolen from a woman in her 30s whilst she was shopping in Farmfoods on Fratton Road. 

Officers have been carrying out enquiries, such as reviewing CCTV footage from the area, and are now releasing an image of a man they would like to speak to who may be able to provide more information.
