Man and two teenage boys arrested following Chandler's Ford road traffic collision

Officers have arrested three people following a two-vehicle road traffic collision in Chandler’s Ford on Tuesday evening (23 September).

We were called just before 6.20pm to a report of a collision at the junction of Park Road and Merdon Avenue.

Thankfully, there were no injuries as a result of the collision, but it was reported that a man and two boys, who were travelling in one of the vehicles, had failed to remain at the scene. 

Officers quickly located and detained all three, just as they were about to get into a taxi.

A 22-year-old man from Southsea and a 16-year-old boy from Eastleigh were arrested on suspicion of; 

A 15-year-old boy from Chandler’s Ford was arrested on suspicion of;

All three have since been released on conditional police bail, pending further enquiries.
