Witness appeal following road traffic collision in Southampton

We are appealing for witnesses and information following a road traffic collision on Thomas Lewis Way in Southampton.

Officers were called at 11.49am today (6 September) to a report of a collision involving a car and a female riding a rented e-scooter.

The woman suffered a serious injury to her arm and was taken to hospital to receive treatment.

Thomas Lewis Way northbound was closed from St Deny’s Road up to Portswood Road to allow the emergency services to deal with the incident.

The road has since been reopened. Thanks for your patience.
