I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Theft - (shoplifting, personal, other), which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

We are appealing for witnesses and information following an attempted theft of a bike in Farnborough.

The incident took place between 3.50am and 4am on Thursday 7 August on Vesey Close.

It was reported that a man tried to steal a bicycle but was disturbed and fled the scene in the direction of Prospect Road.

He was described as: Between 20 and 30 years old, 5ft 10ins tall and of skinny build. He was wearing black clothing and a black balaclava.

Were you in the area at the time? Did you witness any suspicious behaviour? Do you have any doorbell, dashcam or CCTV footage which can help our enquiries?
