Good morning all,

Yesterday Ringwood police were out carrying out anti social behaviour (ASB) patrols as part of #HIOWCSaferSummer. Known ASB hotspots were targeted and several incidents responded to.

• A shoplifter was identified running from Tesco Express shortly after the patrol began with him being caught after a short foot chase and detained.
• A 4 year old child was seen leaning out of a first floor window and immediate action taken to prevent the worst from happening.
• Foot patrols carried out in the Ringwood recreation area, Hampshire Hatches and Furlong.
• Incident responded to of a young child in the central reservation of a carriageway.
• Foot patrols in Fordingbridge recreation area – local youths spoken to re anti social behaviour.
• Foot patrols in Fordingbridge high street where a driver was stopped for parking on zigzag markings immediately next to a zebra crossing.
• Court summons issued x3 to a shoplifter in the Ringwood area.
• We have also been targeting anti-social and speeding vehicles in the Bransgore and Burley areas in recent days.

We will be carrying out more days of action like this in the coming days so watch this space 
