Officers announce police recruitment event for Basingstoke

Are you looking for a job role where no two days will be the same?

Do you want to help provide a vital service to the public, which will often be in situations when they need it the most?

If so, please come along to our police recruitment event in Basingstoke next month.

We are always looking for people to join the policing family and wanted to hold an event to give those in the north of county a chance to learn more about a number of different roles in Basingstoke.

Members of the public are welcome to drop in to our recruitment event to find out more about what it takes to become a police officer or police staff member.

The event will be held in Festival Place, between Go Go Gadget and Goldsmiths, from 11am until 2pm on Saturday 30 August.

Officers from local Neighbourhood Policing Teams, District Policing Teams and the Criminal Investigation Department will be in attendance.

Chief Inspector Hayley O’Grady, District Commander for Basingstoke, said: “If you’re looking for a new challenge and are interested in joining the police, then I’d like to welcome you to the event to meet some of our officers and staff and learn more about a career in policing.”
