A BIG THANK YOU! - you will see from the second photo that a Gosport resident had a bit of 'an incident' this evening. The resident is ok and no other persons or property were affected. We would like to thank a number of agencies but mostly the passing member of the public who helped the resident get out of their flat, top work sir!
PCSO' s and PC's arrived swiftly with Fire and Ambulance also attending to check on the residents physical welfare and to ensure that there was no additional risk within the flat.
The Housing group responsible for the block arrived to secure the premises and also work with a safeguarding agency to ensure the resident had accommodation whilst repairs take place.
In addition lots of other residents came out to see if they could help, a special mention goes to the lady that came out with cold drinks for us
