Today in Totton, your Community Speedwatch were out again.

This time they were on Calmore Road.

There were 20 vehicles checked at over 35mph with the highest speed: 42mph by one vehicle, in a 30mph. They will receive their education letters in the post.

You might have seen them with some new equipment recently. This makes it easier for Speedwatch to continue doing what they do best. Slowing down the traffic.

Over the last year, we have noticed a decline in speeding vehicles. So something is working.

You can expect to see them continuing doing their good work over the next few weeks as they continue to use the new equipment.
