As part of our investigation into a reported sexual offence in Andover, we are releasing an E-fit image of a man we’d like to speak to in connection with the incident.

During the incident, which occurred on East Street between 4.30pm and 5.30pm on Thursday 17 April, it’s reported that an unknown man was witnessed carrying out a sexual act over his clothing.

Whilst doing this, the man also got the attention of a teenage girl by whistling at her as she passed by.

The man we’d like to speak to in connection with the incident, pictured in the E-fit, is described as;

• White
• Aged in his 40s
• Quite short, greying hair
• Wearing a grey coat with a reflective part on it (possibly a reflective grey stripe) and grey jogging bottoms.

We believe the man, described above, can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.

We would also like to hear from anyone who recalls seeing a man, matching the above description and E-fit image, in the area at the time of the incident.
