Officers arrested a man on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs in Basingstoke town centre.
At around 1am on Saturday 7 June, CCTV operatives made officers aware of potential drug-related activity involving a man on a bicycle at the Top of the Town.
Officers were directed to the scene and arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A in the May Place area.
Eight bags of suspected Class A drugs, along with £180 cash, were seized.
The man was interviewed and has been released on police bail, to allow more enquiries to take place.
A second man was stopped by officers as part of the same incident and issued a community resolution, after a small quantity of suspected class A drugs was found.
