Man, 25, charged with GBH following incident in Farnborough


Officers investigating a serious assault in Farnborough have charged a man.

We were called at 8.38pm on Sunday 25 May to reports that a man in his 20s had been stabbed on Greatfield Road.

The victim was taken to hospital to receive treatment for serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Officers launched an investigation and as part of our enquiries, arrested a man in connection with the incident.

Isiah Payne, 25, of Ferry Lane, Guildford, has since been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and aggravated vehicle taking.

Payne appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court today (28 May) and was remanded into custody. He is next due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday 25 June.
