A knife surrender bin has been placed at #Newport Police Station on the Isle of Wight as part of the #OpSceptre week of action .  They look just like a wheelie bin you’d have at home, but there will be clear signage on them, so you’ll know the right one to use. 

If you or someone you know has a weapon they need to dispose of in the area, they can do so at this location.  

We will also be using the online form  https://forms.office.com/r/jnt7pUYGny and/or QR code below on social media for the public to surrender weapons that we can collect if they don’t want to bring them into the police station.
