Man arrested after officers find drugs in Farnborough


A man has been arrested after officers found suspected Class A drugs and more than £750 in cash following a proactive stop in Farnborough last night.

Officers from the Hart and Rushmoor Priority Crime Team were patrolling the town when they spotted a BMW car which had been reportedly linked to drug-related activity.

The vehicle was stopped on Kestrel Road at around 8.30pm on Sunday 18 May and due to the suspicious circumstances, a search was carried out.

Following the search, officers found five bags of suspected Class A drugs and £780 in cash.

A 24-year-old man from London was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A. He remains in custody while our enquiries continue.
