Good afternoon residents of Winchester,

I have recently been investigating a report of suspicious behaviour at the Somers Close Skate Park in Stanmore at approximately 14:30 on Saturday 3rd May 2025. 

Our informant reported to police that while walking in the direction of the Skate Park, the informant's young child was approached by an unknown male who asked her a question. 

The child, unharmed, returned to the informant and told her what happened. 

He has been described as a black male, approximately 30 years old, wearing a distinctive cowboy hat, sunglasses and camouflage shorts. 

Prior to speaking to the child, the unknown male is believed to have approached in the direction of the footpath behind New Life Church on Stanmore Lane.

The unknown male was last seen walking towards the Car Park and in the direction of Somers Close. 

This appears to be an isolated incident, however I am keen to find the identity of the unknown male.
