Detectives investigating a serious assault in Hedge End have arrested three people in connection with the incident. A 15-year-old boy from Hedge End and a 21-year-old man from Southampton have both been arrested on suspicion of Section. 18 grievous bodily harm. A 42-year-old woman from Hedge End has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. All three remain in police custody at this time. The arrests follow a report shortly after 11pm yesterday (Tuesday 29 April) of a stabbing of a man in his 30s at an address on Alder Avenue, Hedge End. The victim, who is from Southampton, remains in hospital in a stable condition. Officers, who are carrying out extensive enquiries and patrols, would like to hear from anyone who was in the area of the incident at the time.
