It was reported to us that on Wednesday 23rd April at 09.30am that there was a suspicious male in the woodland along to Salters Lane.

A female was walking her dog in this area when she has seen a male walking directly towards her and as he got within a few metres of her she has run off.

Although the male has not grabbed her or chased her she felt very frightened that he was going to do something.

Description of him is:

White 

20-40 years old

Dark Brown hair with a beard/Goatie

Wearing a Yellow/Beige Striped/zigzag jacket

Please be vigilante when walking alone, make sure you are carrying your mobile phone, plan your route, tell someone where you are going and report to us anyone you believe may be unusual/suspicious.

This may have been a one off or even innocent and this is just to raise awareness to walkers in the area.
