We are currently at the scene of a serious collision in Fleet.

Police were called at 9.42am today (Monday 21 April) to a report of a collision involving a grey Smart Fortwo car and a pedestrian on Reading Road North.

The pedestrian, a man in his 80s, has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Reading Road North is currently closed while we carry out enquiries at the scene and we expect the road to remain closed for a number of hours, so please avoid the area wherever possible.

As part of our enquiries into the circumstances of this incident we would like to hear from anyone with any information.
