Happy Easter Winchester
We hope you are all having an egg-cellent weekend!
Just like to use this opportunity to share some good results this week from the Winchester City Neighbourhood Policing Team.
Whilst out on patrol, PCSO Parker stopped and detained a male who had shoplifted from CO-OP and TESCO, breaching his Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) in the process. The male was swiftly arrested by PC Lawrence and has since been remanded in custody pending a court appearance.
At the same time, a male who was outstanding for burglary was sighted by PCSO Leung. This male was also swiftly arrested by PC Jones and taken into custody. He has since been bailed whilst enquiries are on-going.
Another prolific offender was also arrested earlier this week for shoplifting and breaching his interim CBO. Due to the diligent work completed by PC Croxton, DNO Jeffery, and DNO Harries, this male has been handed a 12 weeks prison sentence, as well as a full order CBO which will last 2 years.
Following a number of reports of lead roofing thefts on ARCHERY LANE, PCSO Leung has started to conduct enquiries in the area, including CCTV and house to house. If you have also been a victim of this, or have information that may assist us, please contact 101 and quoting reference number 44250163633.
Sgt Keen and DNO Andrews has also assisted with a search deployment elsewhere in the county.
It has been a busy one for us all, but we are all still in high spirits for this Easter weekend!
