Three teenagers have been arrested in connection with a reported burglary at Asda, High Street. During the incident, which was reported to us at approximately 7.20am on Sunday (29 September), people were reportedly seen trying to gain entry to the store via a fire exit. Officers from Eastleigh and Hedge End were quickly on the scene to locate and arrest two girls and a boy. • A 16-year-old boy from West End was arrested on suspicion of attempt burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal and burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal. • A 15-year-old girl from West End was arrested on suspicion of burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal. • A 14-year-old girl from West End was arrested on suspicion of attempt burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal and burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal. • All three have since been released on conditional police bail, pending further enquiries. Officers from the local Neighbourhood Policing Team will continue to carry out patrols in the area and will be on hand to respond to any other incidents as and when they arise. We continue to investigate the incident and enquiries remain ongoing at this time.
