You are receiving this alert because you are shown as having a priority of fraud, or are otherwise linked to a business.
Please be aware that we have been informed about a fraud occurring, where a ‘customer’ will attend a store, and claim to have purchased an item, they are they creating a reason as to why the purchase caused a relative (typically their son or daughter), to cut themselves on something unexpectedly found within their purchase, and claiming it cost them a significant amount of money to have an item cleaned of the blood.
Should someone approach you for a refund of this nature, or you feel it is a variation of this fraud, please make us aware.
Consult with your own store policies, however consider taking the person's details ( if safe to do so), and advise them that you will complete an internal enquiry and contact them reference their refund request. Please do not put yourself in any danger.
