We wanted to update you about an investigation.

Officers investigating a serious assault in the early hours of this morning in Cosham have arrested a 20 year-old man as part of our investigation.
We were called at 04:19am to a report that a 21 year-old man had been seriously assaulted and stabbed by another man on Brighstone Road In Cosham. The victim was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.

At around 11:00am this morning as part of our enquiries a 20 year-old man of no fixed address was arrested on suspicion or causing grievous bodily harm with intent and being concerned in the supply of a class A drug. He remains in custody at this time.
