Good Afternoon Winchester South residents;

I'm writing this witness appeal to everyone registered on Hampshire Alerts within Oliver's Battery, Stanmore and Badger Farm. Please share this appeal to others in the Winchester area.

Near ROOKS DOWN ROAD, BADGER FARM, WINCHESTER - Suspicious circumstances/vehicle. Between Thurs 1st August 11:45 and 12:15 hours.

Informant reports while cycling on ROOKS DOWN ROAD, he has been followed by an “OLD LOOKING BLACK VAN WITH WINDOWS ON THE SIDE AND BACK”. The informant cycled up ROOKS DOWN ROAD, onto ASHBARN CRESCENT, before turning onto KESTRAL CLOSE and into DAVIS PLAYGROUND. 

Once inside the playground, the informant was able to cycle away from the occupants of the vehicle, who had followed him through the estate in the van. The informant describes the occupants of the van as “THREE WHITE MALES OF MIDDLE AGED APPEARANCE”. We believe there was a female with a child in DAVIS PLAYGROUND who may have witnessed what happened. Do you know who this female is?

Reassurance visits have been made with the victim, and reactive patrols have been completed, without any further sightings.
