A 29-year-old man from Southampton has been charged in connection with burglary other than dwelling and vehicle interference in the Bursledon area.

Jamie Bruce Dean Dixon, of Staplehurst Close, has been charged with a burglary at The Plough, Portsmouth Road and a vehicle interference on Bursledon Heights, both on Friday 14 June.

He has also been charged with going equipped for theft and possession of a knife in a public place.

Dixon appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Tuesday 18 June) and was remanded on conditional bail.

He will appear at Southampton Crown Court on Monday 22 July.
