Incidents in Marchwood and Eling on Sunday 16 June


Following reports of individuals trying door handles of vehicles and a property in the Marchwood and Eling areas in the early hours of Sunday morning (16 June), as well as the the theft of three motorbikes which were later recovered, officers have been investigating the incidents.

They've been completing further enquiries and reassurance patrols in the locations concerned. These will continue over the coming days.

If you spot our officers out and about, please come over and have a chat with them, ask any questions and share any information you may have.

If you witnessed anything of the incidents, or recall seeing anything suspicious in the early hours of Sunday morning, please call 101 and quote incident number 44240252940.

We also want to hear from you if you have any footage of any of the incidents, or the men described above, whether that be CCTV, dash cam, doorbell camera or mobile phone.
