A 47-year-old man from Eastleigh has been sentenced for assaulting two police officers. Edward Darren Foote, 47, of no fixed abode, assaulted the officers at an address on Chestnut Avenue on Wednesday 3 April. During the incident, one of the officers was punched in the face, while another was pushed into a wall. One of the officers suffered swelling, cuts and bruises as a result of the assault.
