You may have heard that a number of vans in your area have been broken into with thousands of pounds worth of tools being stolen.

We want to reassure you that we are aware and have started to conduct enquiries around these incidents. We would also like to use this opportunity to ask residents with CCTV or Ring doorbells to scan through their footage for the early hours of the morning on 10/06/2024 and 11/06/2024 and let us know if you have captured anything that would be of use for our enquires, particularly those living on FROMOND ROAD, WESTMAN ROAD, GREAT FIELD ROAD, and TAPLINGS ROAD.

If you have had your vehicle broken into and have yet to report this to us, you can do so by calling 101 or reporting online on the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary website.
