Further arrests made in Andover warehouse burglary investigation

Detectives continue to investigate a warehouse burglary in Andover in which a large number of cosmetic items were stolen.

The burglary took place at the Harpar Grace International site, at the Walworth Business Park, sometime between 10pm and midnight on New Year’s Day this year.

Previously, two arrests had been made as part of this investigation.

This week, officers from the Northern Area Crime Team and the Neighbourhood Enforcement Team carried out three warrants in the Yorkshire area and made four arrests.

A 39-year-old man from West Yorkshire was re-arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary, having been arrested on suspicion of the same offence earlier in the investigation.

Three other men from West Yorkshire, aged 31, 37 and 46, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary.

All four were released on police bail until Wednesday 4 September to allow further enquiries to take place.

Officers also re-interviewed a 30-year-old woman from West Yorkshire under caution this week. She had previously been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to handle stolen goods, conspiracy to commit money laundering and transfer of criminal property earlier in the investigation.

A second 30-year-old woman attended a police station voluntarily to be interviewed under caution.

We are continuing to investigate this incident.
